An Embarrasing confession
I'm a 13 year old girl with a great social life and a lot of friends. Except I have an ugly secret-I still suck my thumb. I do it nonstop except for when I'm at school. I can't go overnight without sucking it. When I go to sleepovers, I have to make excuses to sleep under the covers so my friends won't see me doing it. It always gets on my mom and dad's nerves, and it's stressing us all out. Not to mention, it's totally ruining my teeth. I'm almost buck-toothed at this point. It's an addiction and I can't stop. I've tried everything from thumbguards to psychologists, with no luck. Please help me before it's too late.

Im 12 and i still do its just somthing that comforts me for some reason and i stop every once and awhile but i keep doing i think its fine as long as you stop maybe before college. My dad is the only person who only care that i suck my finger but i still do.

I have something you can suck. It's bigger then a thumb, but you can still use your talents on it.

Im 14 & i'm the same. There was a point in time where I did stop but then I tried it again for good old sakes but then I got addicted again. Mine isnt actually my thumb though. Its my ring & middle finger on my left hand. I wish I could stop too :/ My parents think its annoying too. I wish people could just understand its not easy to just stop -.-
