  • That is exactly right, if you know the person, and do not reort it, obviously you have a bigger chance. If you have been raped by someone you don't know, you should not let this control your life and cause you to be scared all the time, however, you should also know to take precautions to prevent this or something like this from happening in the future. For example, carry mase, if you are walking alone, dial 911 on your cell phone, and keep your finger on the send button just in case, try to always stay with a group of friends if you are planning to go out, never give out your address, phone number, or place of employment to anyone you dont know.

  • You need to hide a razor blade in your personal to cut the unwanted p****!

  • My hero= Seventh comment.

  • Ooooh, very clever. SiteShrink you are a frikkin genious. I wish someone would come across this site and offer you a PR job, or totally give you a column or something. You're my hero. Btw, are you hot?

  • Maybe SiteShrink spelled it therapy wrong to avoid the word therapist which is really just the rapist without spaces.

  • Are there ways you could make yourself less apt to be raped? No blame here, but something to think about.

  • Rape!

  • Yes, theropy.

  • Most women who get raped they know their attacker and he has access to rape them again. Especially if the first rape went unreported as a lot of them do. If you didn't know your attacker it's less likely that you will be raped again, but you can't go by stats because for the most part none of these studies take into account all the variables that go into the situations. They are controlled studies that deal with certain people and certain environments so just learn from your rape and be careful. But don't let it cause you to live in fear because if you do then it's like the guy is raping you every day. Your life is never the same after you've been raped but it doesn't mean all is lost. You can get past this and be secure again. Get some theropy and you'll be fine.

  • Whether that is a true stat or not (I do not see how) it should not matter. You must carry on through your daily life and not worry about something taht in all reality will never happen to you again. Smile and enjoy life, do not let one bad experience ruin you forever.

  • I don't see how that statistic could really work out.
