F****** Stroke

My husband had a stroke last year. Everyone around us thinks he made a super great recovery. I know better....he's not the same. His emotional state is f***** up. He won't admit that he needs help and I'm living in h***. I've tried talking to him about it and he just gets defensive and binge drinks. I've never felt so alone....

  • Be more understanding?! She, by her own words, is living in h*ll! How long do you suggest she continue to "be more supportive". He needs help! I agree looking death in the face is life altering, and I agree that people that have faced death should be given understanding and compassion, but he won't seek help when he clearly needs it and binge drinking is not a solution to fear.
