I had no idea that married life could

I had no idea that married life could be so lonely. I though that marriage was a guarantee of life long companionship. I wish someone had told me.My husband is very selfish.I should have known, his parents are also selfish to the extreme.

  • Mine started conking out after about the 7th year. Crazy, alcoholic ex wife would drink her face off at 2, 3 bars per night, then accuse me of all sorts of stuff, especially cheating on her with one of my business partners.

So, as things were already in the crapper..I decided. If you're going to think I'm messing around on you, and I'm not..Fukit, I may as well do it. Not only with the business partner, but, with a few realtors I know (one of whom was way out of my league..still don't know how I pulled that one off), and woman who ran a temp service.

I'm still hearing stories of ex-wife's drunken behaviors. And, how little most of our friends, and bar staff, liked her. One recently told me they "tolerated her because they liked me".

  • Boo hoo. You picked him.

  • Yes, sometimes marriage sucks for a host of reasons, with a selfish spouse just being one of them. But it's really true, marriage is "for better or for worse" etc. Talk to your husband.

  • A lot ot times, people get married, but carry their single lifestyle with thiem, sometimes for a long time. To be in a good marriage, you have to be pretty selfless. I was that way with my wife to start with, but eventually I wised up. My advice, and this is old advice, but talk to your husband about your concerns and try to work it out. And just to let you know, marriage is a very up and down relationship. Nobody's marriage is up all the time. We all fight, hate each other, occasionally. Just remember why you got married.

  • lets hook up, i got what you need

  • I feel your pain. My new bride is the exact same way.
