hey dude i totally get where ur comin from, i used to be the same way, but im not anymore. it turns out the guy i used to like was a total ** and it took me being a little sad over him to make me realise that i didnt need him

it sounds like what you miss is having control over her. You used to have power over her because she needed you to be happy but not anymore.
