Well looking from some distance an Israeli and a Palestinian look the same - same faces, same language and all. Is that why Palestinians hate Israelis so much?
There is no way these two nations can live side by side - one being in the 21c the other still in the Middle Ages. And it is not like the Israelis hate Palestinians all that much. Everybody else does too. Egypt hates them and Jordan just as much. No-body wants them as refugees because they spread hate and anger wherever they settle.
So to say it is a bigger issue. Not between Israel and Palestina. But more between the Muslims and non-Muslims, the rich and the poor, etc. A bigger problem and Gaza is just one point where this problem erupted.
