A Sad Realization
Yesterday I came to the conclusion that my father is immature, selfish, and a creep. It makes me sad to know this, since I always thought that we were close. I guess I sort of knew this deep down, but I just didn't want to see it. Now I posses no respect for either of my parents. If you can't look up to your parents, who the ** are you supposed to look up to?
You adjust relationship to suit your needs. Look up to friends, other family members, teachers, other adults in your life..plus you'll meet people all the time who will teach you new lessons all the time. Regardless of who you think your father is today, you sound really intelligent and insightful..they did something very right.
