Trying to replace memories
When i was 8-13 (MALE) i had a best fried called peter(MALE), as we were little we see eachother in our jocks, sleep in the same bed (some times), and see eachother naked while changing
As time went by we slowly separated and i changed schools and i have a new best friend named Daniel that i am even more close to. But seaming as we are now 15 we dont sleep in the same bed (ok), and only somtimes see eachother in our jocks. Never have we got completely changed in the same room. because i think he is shy (puberty).
But for some reason, when ever we are going to get changed i say that we are both boys and we can get changed in the same room, Daniel is okay with that (but hide's himself a lil) but wont change his jocks near me.
I dont know why but i want him to do all the things me and peter did when we were younger like swim togeather in our jocks and get changed completely in the same room.
Am i just weird, or am i trying replace memories that i had with peter, with Daniel. am i trying to make Daniel my new peter by doing the activities i did with peter (even though were 15 now)
Please explain, what am i trying to do? trying to get Daniel-or trying to get back memories from peter.
You shouldn't ever try to "replace" your friends, which it sounds like you're trying to do. You have to accept that Daniel is a different person than Peter is, and that your friendship will be different.
