Your feelings are understandable giving what you are going through. Your friends may not be as happy as they seem. Sometimes all we see are the facades until they crumble. As for your situation, that can change in time. Much of life appears to be luck of the draw, as is illustrated in what kind of families people are born into. In the coming years, the tables could turn. You might have it all and see some of your friends ideal lives go down the drain. Best thing, though, would be to work at making yourself happier, perhaps with some changes. Changes, though sometimes scary, bring opportunities for greater happiness.

There is only one rule: You get exactly what you ask for. No more, no less. So stop feeling sorry for yourself.
