I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

My coach just called me and asked if I was still going to try out for the team. I told said no. I feel so weird now, like I don't know if that was the right thing to do or not. I didn't do it this year because I am not the good of a player, and I can't handle the pressure of having an entire team depend on me when I know I can't really play. Last year, I did it because I just needed something to do, and I wanted the uniform. This year, I don't know, I'm just not that good. I just really hope I'm not making a big mistake.

  • If you have a love for the sport then go for it! If you don't think you're very good then think again! I've never known a coach to call a "bad" player and ask them to join...

  • Coaches don't ask guy's to try out if they aren't any good! But you should only play if you enjoy it, not for the uniform or pressure from others, but if you actually enjoy the game.
