The teachers at mark Twain I.S.239 should really put "pretend" in front of every verb on those idiotic student-teacher contract stunts. "*Pretend* to arrive on class on time, and *pretend* to be ready to learn and *pretend* to participate in class". Much easier that way, since we have no say in what we have to agree with, and that the pages are plagerized (they're all the same, except for the teacher name and class subject/room).
They should also allow you to talk in homeroom. Because you only have lunch to socialize other than that.
