I am a slacker. I have a good paying
I am a slacker. I have a good paying job and I sit around reading CNN, ESPN, Facebook, and reading confessions all day. When there is work to do, I put it in gear and my boss is always pleased, but I have a difficult time knowing that I could be doing more. It's like I'm allergic to focusing unless I absolutely must!
From one slacker to another, I understand. But you know why you have a "difficult time"? Because deep down, you have some sense of integrity. You know better. You know it's wrong to be paid for a job that you're not putting much into. I've been working harder and harder myself, although it's still a challenge. It's about fighting procrastination and the fear of failure. I just say the phrase, "I'm diving in....starting now." "Not whatever, but whatever it takes." Listen to that voice of integrity inside!
Hey, he's happy, your happy.
we're all happy!
Me too!!
That's pretty normal. If your boss is happy, whatever.
