I've met a few people who have never had any interest in a serious relationship, but have a few select dating partners. If it makes them happy and they aren't hurting anyone, well good enough for me. I think sometimes people do get pressured into one on one relationships, kind of sad really, if thats not what they want. At the same time, I see no problem if someone does want a one on one relationship either. Maybe the OP is someone who just isn't satisfied with only one partner.
