Secret Santa
So when you meant that we are doing secret santa this year between 8 of us, and the spending amount was $150 dollars did you mean it? 7 out of eight people obviously went the extra mile and spent that $150 of nice, great gifts.
You however spent a bit less, a luffa and shower gel, a pair of old navy jeans and a plasitc,dart set!! (I DONT PLAY DARTS, I HATE DARTS!!)
Thats it? really. When everyone else was getting very nice gifts this is what you gave me?
It reminds me how much I dont like being part of this "family" after living with my boyfriend and his parents for 2 years.
I didnt know if I wanted to cry is dispair, I had to work extra hours-and really got creative with my secret santa. You, just picked up something of the street and handed it over?
Then--You spend nearly $500 on your grandchild-who has no concept of what the spirit of Christmas really means--gets 20-40 presents, ugh.. I can now tell you that I hate Christmas completely from today out.

I agree with the original writer. it ** to get a cheap, no thought gift from someone when you have put thought and effort into picking out somethng special. i have someone like that in my family. they gave some cheap, crappy gift basket that you would give to a stranger or the mailman. I "accidently" left it at their house. yes, the season is about giving, but it still hurts.

no, no it is not, not only. and it -is- stupid to pile a bunch of stuff on a being that can't comprehend the idea of "stuff" yet, let alone "holidays." that's just vain posturing on the part of the so called adults involved.

Honey last christmas i only got a christmas card. I worked full time and I was going to school full time. So please be appreciative that you got something while others would have loved to have gotten anything at all :/
