I need a guys point of view...
my boyfriend and I split up a few months ago
we still liked each other after we went our separate ways
we are trying to become friends
I still like him and miss him but I am debating on telling him
if your ex girlfriend told you she still liked you would that push you away from her? Should I tell him or would that be a big mistake?
Should I not go out of my way to talk to him until the summer when we will both be home from college? Or until he comes to me?
I don't know what to do...please give advice

  • If you "both realized" your misunderstanding, and he didn't suggest trying to make it work again, it's over darling.

  • u brokeup bcause---
    u r how old?

  • B******!

  • let him come to you.

  • Hmmm. Somehow I do not think the transition from lover to friend is going to be an easy one for you. Good friends are open and honest with each other. No debating about what to say in order to achieve a certain outcome. in fact, no manipulation at all. No jealousy, only genuine support and good wishes for each other. It might sound harsh, but from what you have said so far it sounds like preparations for a game of chess. What is with the angling and weighing the percentages of each approach? Just start talking to him_as a friend_ and see if he takes to it. If not, then there is no chance no matter how carefully you manage to manipulate the situation. Good luck.

  • it was a misunderstanding...we both realized it a few months after the split

  • Depends on why we broke up.
