Daddy help me

My dad died when I was young. And now that I am almost an adult I wonder if he would be proud of me. Or if he would hate me. Would he love me? That is all I want. I want him to love me so badly, but how can a dead man love? I can't believe I am still crying for my long lost daddy. It has been 15 years now.

    • Of course he loves you and is proud of you. There is no question about it.

    • Parental love is unconditional and continuous, in or outside of death. Rest assured your dead father loves you and is proud of you. Pray for him and talk to him in prayer and you will find these things to be true. I am not a religious person, but parental love is real and on-going.

    • I guess you don't have children, because then you'd know that parents don't love you sometimes, or because you've done things that will \\"make them proud.\\" A parent's love doesn't work that way, it's not conditional... No matter what it's always there.

At least that's how I feel, as a parent to a special needs child.
