Lost Love
I feel like I'll always love my friends and boyfriend more than they love me. I know it seems selfish but I can't help thinking it. They just don't seem to put as much effort into anything like I do. Now I'm wondering if anyone will ever love me as much as I love them.
Probably not. But that is OK. I am turning 50 next month and have never been loved the way I love others. But the point of loving is to give of yourself. Find your joy in helping and loving those around you. You will find deep and lasting love, but no one will match the effort you put in.
i think a lot of people feel this way, there are just people in this world that are more passionate and emotional than others. consider yourself lucky that you are like this and get to experience connnections in such a way.
