Having a baby is a drain. The infant is in need of CONSTANT care and you wife has not a moment to herself. It is a real strain and she needs some assistance with cooking, cleaning house, doing laundry, feeding the child etc.

For a while after a woman has her baby her personality is a little different. The same goes for you the father. Life must change for you also and it may be hard for you to recognize or except it. I had to help more with housework and help with the chores of taking care of a completely helpless child. It took some adjustment for me. I found the more I was involved with house and childcare, my wife became more sexual. A win win for both of us.
