I'm a gay man and I get off to homophobes calling me a **. I think it just allows me to feel good about something that I normally experience as bad, namely internalized homophobia and ongoing fears about being out. But sometimes I want to find a homophobe who bottles it up for fear of the social consequences, and just give him permission to say whatever he wants to me. Unlimited f-word passes.
