Privileged students , teachers with double standards
I have absolutely no problem with a teacher that rather give better grades to students basing on simpaty or the social status , since it is still a choice based on an effective superiority during a comparsion , what is really better to avoid is to tormenting and stressing a student or exposing it publically , but so long as it is humiliation , superbe mentality and effective superiority and similar things then it is ok , after all the teacher is the equivalent of the employer , so it have the right to decide for the grades even tho with a criteria not necessarely dependent on the value of the work , in this case the important is to just valorize more the work of a student compared to another one that is somehow inferior (even tho it did a better work) but without penalize more the inferior student , in this way there is the favoritism in a way that is safe for the inferior student because it doesn't risk to just repeat the class for years and years.
