i have been single for a long time. i was getting terribly lonely so i went to a party to try to meet someone new. i barely escaped being **. i feel more lonely than ever. why am i not good enough to find someone that will care for me?
Battling lonliness can be a difficult thing. In my case, I tried the meetup groups, local events, etc, and found most to be boring as **, or, very clique, as in, people there already knew each other and stuck to their own, as opposed to meeting new people.
More often than not, I'd end up at the bar, not so much to drink, but, socialization and people contact. I've since cut that back, but still use that option probably too often.
