Abuse

About a week ago, my best friend of 12 years told me that her father had been physically abusing her and her sisters since she was about 10 years old. All this time, and I'm the first one she's told. I have no idea what to do, as she lives halfway across the country now. I just want to be able to be a good friend and help her out.
