Why can't this be serious?

I can't help myself around him. The other night I only got two drinks in me before we started making out. He always shows up at these kinds of parties, and we always ended up making out. I don't know his name, or even what school he goes to. As soon as we're done he says, "You know this isn't serious, right?" and walks away.
