I was in a similar situation a couple years back. He's still my best friend, but I'm not in love with him as much as he's in love with me. Careful. When they're younger, they'll take you more seriously, and when they take you more seriously, you have more responsibility over someone's feelings.

To set the record straight I would never tell you do somebody in the meantime. But the impersonator isn't completely wrong. I would recommend that you wait until he's of age. Also in these situations it's good to know the law. In some states the legal age of consent is 16. This is a sticky situation anyway because you are only 18. It's not like you are 40 and he's 16. You probably went to school with this guy or if not the same school, at least you guys were in school at the same time. So I don't see anything wrong with it(personal opinion not the law). So yeah just wait until he is 17 then you will be safe on all fronts.
