I am a hopelessly awkward teenager.

I have had a few boyfriends, but only because they asked me out. Now I really like this guy and we talk occasionally but he won't seem to ask me out. I'm pretty sure he likes me, I just think he's shy. Which ** because I can't get the ** to ask him out. Any suggestions on something I could say to get him to understand that I like him? Without being too confrontational?
