When I was in grade 3, I had to go to

When I was in grade 3, I had to go to the grade 4 class to get reading tests. Walking back, I would look at the answer key and cheat when answering the quiz. I did this for 6 months. They thought I was super smart and skipped me a grade. No-one told me I was getting skpped; I was only told to take my desk next door. I didn't know what was going on. I felt totally out of place and everyone seemed so much smarter. I was gripped by fear ever since then and it's wrecked my life.

  • fake it till you make it...maybe you are smart ....

  • serves you right, you dumb ass kid

  • Wrecked your life? Let me guess, you're 15 years old or younger? Pick yourself up and go.

  • You shouldn't let one mistake in your childhood ruin your whole life. Move past that fear of inadequacy (everyone's got it, even the "smart" people) and do your best, strive for excellence. You'll never be disappointed.

  • If you didn't do so well in the next grade, they should have moved you back, or at least moved you back and kept you on a slightly higher curriculum than your fellow classmates.

  • So suddenly you became the dumb kid, eh?
