In sixth grade, I wanted to read the Buffy Watcher's Guide at the public library but I didn't have my library card with me that day, so I snuck it into my backpack. And then I felt too embarrassed to return it, so I cut out all my favorite pictures from it and threw it away so no one would know. I feel bad about it now, and I'm thinking of buying a copy of it to "donate" to the library.

  • LOL what a loser!

  • You are definitely going to H***

  • Well, I looked it up in the library's computers and it said it was "missing." I feel like it's my duty to donate the same book because it was something that I didn't take away from the library itself, but I took it from any kids who might have wanted to check it out one day only to find it missing.

  • Donate money to the library instead. They may have already replaced that book, or have more pressing needs.
