I haven't been working...

For a year I haven't been working. I have lied to family, friends and others.

I tell them I'm voulenteering at a preschool. In the morning I go to a cafe, sit for an hour and a half, then go to the local library.

My parents have had been suspicious, they at first questioned why I wasn't getting any money, they drove past the place I was supposed to "work" and saw my car wasn't there. They also took note that I don't talk often about my day at work.

What I have said to them in response is:

I am volunteering.
I have a co-worker that picks me up. (I have given this fictional character a name, age and background)
At the library...they hold morning readings and activities for toddlers and I call my mom up from my cellphone when the library is filled with squeals, cries etc.

This had to come off my mind. I'm going back to college next year so I can gain some skills and a work ethic to get back into the work force.
