To be or not to be?
You know it would be stupid to say that I don't want to be in love. I do want to be in love but, I really don't know what it's like. I've had crushes, yes but no one has ever liked me back. I've never been out with anyone. For a 20 year old, that's pretty bad, I know but finding a partner isn't everything. After all 50% of marriages fail in the U.S. Not to say that I don't want to get married some day. It's just not looking good for me. I think I should just focus on work. ** what other people say.
Find something that makes you happy; any hobby at all. Then find other people who also like said hobby. Shared interest = best relationships (friends, lovers). Love will come naturally, or it wont. I met my first love in college because we both enjoyed bizarre horror and were literature majors. I met my husband (who I also love) in competitive 2 stepping. They are both very different, but both relationships were/are strengthened because we have a shared hobby. I have a lot of friends who force it and in the end they settle and live with someone they barely relate to. It may sound smug but by husband and I are often the couple that stays together at a party while all the other people divide and hyper focus on their kids (I assume the only thing that keeps them together.). Be awesome and love someone who shares a hobby!
