Can you really be in love with two

Can you really be in love with two people at the same time? If you are properly in love with one person, can you still allow yourself to fall in love with another? Is it love? Or is it selfish and greedy to allow it to happen?

  • The previous commenter is being presumptuous. I love a man who is emotionally dead inside and cold, unable to give me the love or affection I pour unreservedly onto him. I am not being selfish or greedy if I do eventually decide to get my romantic needs met. His coldness has already done a number on my self-esteem.

But at the same time, me getting what I need would be to his benefit as well because I wouldn't be so depressed when I wrap my arms around him and he gives me a half-assed hug back, if that. We would both be happier. I could give him the reserve and "space" he needs while getting the love I do.

  • Yes you can be in love with two poeple at one time. EVEN more than that! But it depends on HOW you love them. If you think that you should keep them both and they dont agree or they are hurt by that sort of thing, then you ARE being greedy and you should stop and decide who is better for you.
