I applied for my dream job and had an interview last week. I haven't heard anything about this job and I really want it and know that I can be GREAT. I'm afraid that they will look at my current job (I am an entertainer) and think that I am not serious enough to hold such a position. Why can't people look at others for who they are and what they are capable of, instead of measuring them by their job? Any one reading this, please pray I get this job. My family needs it badly! If I don't get this job we may have to move.

Check back with them. I've had a couple of instances where I haven't heard anything for a week or so but then when I call and check back with the person I interviewed with I end up getting the job! So follow up with them and tell them you're really excited about the position and want to know if you're still being considered as a candidate for the position!!
