Course Rosters
I check the course roster before the beginning of each semester to make sure that I have at least one friend in class, walking into a class without a friend is completely terrifying. I don't even care that I am a senior in college, I still shudder at the thought.

We all have our fears. But there are some fears that you have to just deal with head on. Gather up your courage, put on your big girl pants and deal with whatever will happen. You're in college, not high school. Most people are so busy are too caught up in their own lives to pay that much attention to you. I'm not inferring that you're not important. But seriously, most people can't remember what someone wore last Tuesday, let alone what they ate for breakfast that day. For you, what's the worse thing that would happen if you sign up for a class and find out that you know no one? That you would sit next to a stranger? Get to class early and pick out a seat and just watch people come in. Eventually someone sits down next to you and you may find a new friend. Thinking in terms of the big picture, what happens when you graduate and you have to go to interviews or go to a workplace and don't know anyone?
