I told my parents and friends I'm going to be an international studies major in college. I plan on switching to religious studies instead. My dream is to go to Harvard Divinity school and become a minister. I'm afraid people would judge me if they knew.

  • Find a mentor before you switch. Get a true taste of what you think you are going to do.

    International studies is still a good option. Get a language in there and you might actually find employment, but more importantly experiences and memories for life if you travel for your work.

  • It's not their call. Do what you want; it doesn't matter what they think because you need to do what's right for you.

  • You want to pastor but are afraid of what people would think?

  • I think you should tell your parents the truth, and that they should support your desires 100%.
