Quit being so Passive
You know what I hate more than being told No? Not being told anything at all. I get that you don't want to upset me, but it's more upsetting wasting time trying to figure out your answer. I'll be 10x more upset that way, where hopes are getting high, instead of you telling me upfront. Yeah I'd get upset, but I'll be over it within the next minute. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that for it to register.
ITA! But now that there are more and more delicate petals running around who are "traumatized" by that terrible two lettered N-word, be prepared to be turned into a complete villain every time you dare to utter it.
