Old friend

Want to get this off my chest so i'll make it short. decided to cut one of my friends from the past off. she's recently married and i am in a long term relationship(with someone that i truly do love and care about). we were very close at one point but i had the worst unrequited love for her. whenever we'd talk or if i ever see her its almost like those feelings are still in the back of my mind. so i have decided to just erase her. hope it was the right choice.

  • Keep them, you never know when you might need them, even if it is just as friends. I see too many older people who have nobody because their spouses died. Don't you want to have someone to play cards with ;). Love is a rare gift.

  • I hear you. I'm quite young though. Its too hard to remain friends man.

  • I've got a similar unrequited love for a friend. I struggle with whether to stop being friends with her. I wish I had an answer but I don't.

  • Yeah man. S*** is tough. But I have found its easier to let go. If somewhere down the line something happens then so be it.
