A New Day

Yesterday I cheated on my girlfriend of 2 or 3 years with my confidant of 6 to 7 years. It wasn't planned or a goal, it just happened. One second we were talking, the next we were pulling hair and clawing at each other. Confidant was easily the best s** I've ever had. Now its a new day and I have no idea what will be left standing when the sun falls tonight (I will tell the girlfriend about it).

I should feel bad.
I should be worried.
But I just have a strange optimism and smile I can't shake. If this is what people feel when they cheat I can't really blame them. I don't regret my actions and I don't dread what I see as the imminent ending of my relationship.

  • At least you broke out of the friend zone. Kill the other strings attatched relationship and keep with the f*** buddy (if it becomes that) until you find 'the one'? But 2.5 years is a long relationship. There will be repercussions.

  • I think that tells you something about your relationship with your girlfriend!
