I'm being a Cougar
have a big crush on a 17 year old at my Martial Arts gym. I’m 22. I know I’m being utterly ridiculous, even if I could somehow get over the differences in experience, I know he would never be interested in someone so old. I could just be lonely, and going after the first interesting person I see, but how can one ignore such a thing?
A 22 yo is not a cougar particularly in reference to a 17 yo. If he was 7 it might be but then youd be a **. If you were 42, then maybe.
Do you even know what the term cougar means?
Sorry, don't touch him for a year or two. At 17, he's ready to enjoy life but not really be responsible with it. You'll get a good lay, become really attached, and he'll leave you.
Go after him, girl. 17 and 22 are not that big of an age difference. Carpe diem: "Seize the day!" Don't be such a coward. You are young...go after what you want. That's what youth is for, to chase after whatever you want. At some point, you will be 30. Don't put yourself in a position where you are looking back wondering what could have been. Just go up to him and let him know you like him. And from there, let the romantic adventure begin.......
