I think I met one of the 9/11 hijackers in late summer 2001
I was walking home from work in lower manhattan in summer 2001. Walked through a bar area, there was one guy standing in the crosswalk which had a view of the twin towers. I usually crossed the street there so as I passed I asked him if he was okay. He was dressed nicely but smelled of alcohol, I guess he had just come out of one of the bars. He had a weird look on his face, like he was seeing something that he knew wasn't real, but he had a predatory grin like a wolf. He noticed me and pointed to the Twin Towers. "Is world's tallest building!?" he said with some kind of middle eastern accent. I knew there were several taller, so I said "No, not the tallest". Because of his weird vibe I decided to just keep walking. Only remembered it a few months after the attack.
Lies. Muslims (especially extremists) don't touch alcohol.
