"Dancing" on hot coals for my ten year old daughter as punishment
I am the father of a 10 year old tomboy girl.
She is a beautiful little girl, unfortunately she is also too bossy, especially towards younger children; today she hit a 6 year old girl, so I decided to punish her in an exemplary way.
I've already got everything ready for tonight, the little girl's parents will also come to witness her punishment, and they agree.
I will prepare a bed of burning embers, on which my daughter will have to "dance" with her bare feet; she has already begged me not to do this to her, and has even cried, but I am adamant. She needs a stern lesson and she will get it, she deserves it for what she did
Hey OP. You a lunatic if this is true. You could end up in prison for doing that. I'd just slap the ** out of her and let it go at that.
I'm the OP, I subjected my daughter to punishment and I didn't end up in jail.
Furthermore, he did not suffer any actual burns, just a little physical pain and a lot of fear. My daughter did a really nice "dance" on that sizzling embers, it was almost laughable as she was hopping convulsively on the coals with her feet smoking XD

Our daughter is 12 and somewhat of a tomboy also.She hit a 9 year old boy before school started last september and it was her fault! Since then we have been punishing her by making her wear cloth diapers and plastic pants after school and to bed and on the week ends!She has 1 more month to go yet wearing them.

But I read that even in some areas of Eastern Europe they subject boys and girls (always older than 8 years, but younger than 13) to similar punishments: Albania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Romania, Poland, Moldova, Hungary, Kosovo and Kazakistan. But even in places like Sardinia, Corsica or Spain (especially areas of the Pyrenees, Andalusia and Almeria) every now and then these types of archaic educational punishments for childhood appear.
I don't object, when they're really that naughty, It's more than fair for kids to take a bare-footed walk over burning embers or red-hot stones; I say this as an American, some punishments should become more widespread.
