To go or not to go

I confess to weeing myself while swimming as every 5 or so lengths in the water which is often very cold, my bladder is full.
I mean - what am I supposed to do?

Get out of the pool every 5 lengths and dash to the loo?

Not swim at all?

Try to hold it ? (Have tried that without success)

Just give in and wee as & when necessary?
