What I did as opposed to what I should have done

A guy I knew and grew to despise was dating this girl. She had a daughter by a previous marriage. This guy in my story was married. He had regular ** with the woman who I believe thought they would eventually get married. He had other plans.

His wife called and asked him to come back to her. He packed up and left telling me to tell his girlfriend that he was gone back to his wife.

The girlfriend called and I told her what happened. She accused me of lying and threatened me with some sort of consequences if I was. The guys brother walked in and set her straight. She apologised to me.

A few weeks pass and the guys wife kicks him out again. He returns and wants his girlfriend back. At first she refused but for some stupid reason she did go back with this **.

OK what I should have done instead of telling her exactly what he had done was to tell her I didn't know where he was and to call his parents. That way I could have escaped her getting ** off at me.

My lease was up and I got as far away from this idiot as I could. It hurt his feeling but to ** with him.
