Instead of "age is just a number..."
How about saying legal is legal?
Look, I understand the concerns and immoralities of linking with someone who's 18 (fresh/months in-under 21) for hooking up and/or dating in general. But, if they're able to provide actual proof of their age, it really shouldn't matter.
Obviously if they're are lying about their age you should be reporting them immediately, because they're a ** minor and they should be reading a book or just doing homework. But more and more teens are spawning out of the cracks of the adult world as new candidates for whatever it is that we need of them. And for a lot of us, we just can't say no. Most guys our own age either don't want us or live too far to engage with. Some of us take what we can get and don't argue about it. If you want to make it a one-time thing, do it but make it clear to them. If you want to make it something long-term, do it but let them know that it's an offer that they can decline at any time.
We all have our types and preferences that we try to accommodate anytime we use "the apps", but not all of us have the luxury of being picky when most of us have sexual tension that needs to be relieved as soon as possible. Especially those of us who are natural ** addicts. Whether we're looking at authentic stuff on here or on X or any other adults entertainment sites.
Point I'm trying to make is this:
If you've gotten the right amount of information out of them, they're age shouldn't be an issue as long as it's legal within the conditions of the nations all parties involved are in.
Problem is that society has gotten too comfortable with using the word "grooming" to be associated with hunting and predatory habits. TCAP had many pros, but also cons to the nature of its episodes, that has lead a generation of upcoming adults and youth to be judged by others.
It's honestly not fair to those actually have genuine irl healthy relationships and their age gap is no different than you'd expect.
THIS! OMG THIS SO MUCH! What's worse is that Hollywood has made it seem impossible for anybody who's not in a certain position of wealth or power to not be able to pursue these kinds of relationships without it being frowned upon by friends family and strangers alike. You can make a 10-figure income still be able to sleep with whoever you want regardless of their age range as long as it's legal. But if you make under 100k a year or less than that, you apparently don't even deserve to be dating at all let alone anyone in their early adult years.
Trump will moot this issue. Expect a new presidential order eliminating all age of consent laws from sea to shining sea.
There will no longer be any "under age" ** partners.
