My parents care more about the cats.
Dear world,
My parents care more about the cats than me. Ill ask them to come and see something or help me with something, the cat is being stroked so therefore they are deemed busy. They get home from work, feed the animals and take no note of me whatsoever. Sometimes I repeat the same thing 7 times. The only thing that keeps me alive anymore is my boyfriend, if he leaves me then I have nothing.
And yes, I have talked to them about it, all I ever do is moan and complain.
If you always complain then you may be wearing you down to the point where they tune you out. You could learn something from the cats, try taking care of your business and not saying much or attracting attention. They may feel inclined to spend more time with you
