You killed me a little inside
Yesterday i called my best friend beautiful on MSN.Her reaction wasnt as i planned.She asked "What" so i explained "You.Are.Beautiful :)" Since i thought maybe it was a shock and she didnt get i just complimented her...Her reply was "But why...?" I was slightly confused by this. I once again explained to her "Oh because your beautiful on the inside and on the in to me and i think you should be told more :)" And finally i thought she would just accept that im complimenting her and say "thanks! you too"...All she said was "Okay...? Im drawing cartoons :D".I cried for 10mins in my bathroom.I've never gotten a compliment like that.
I've been called 'Hot' '**' 'Smexy' 'Pretty' but never beautiful by any of my friends or my boyfriend. I just wish one day one of my friends would actually say the one that nearly brings tears to my eyes. "Your beautiful, Nicole" Is something ive always longed for someone to say. The thing is to be honest i only ever get complimented when i put myself down and call myself ugly, fat, stupid and ect...
Everyone is beautiful, but you wont get a compliment if you only give them to receive them in return. Its a little fake and manipulative.
