I am in love with a professor. We had one night where we did everything except go all the way. We both agreed that it was soooooo sweet. Best kisses ever. I want him still. I will always want him. It is so hard to keep going on. He is my dissertation chair, so we interact regularly. I can't stop loving and wanting him. It's difficult. We have never repeated that evening and never will, but I still keep fantasizing about it. Sigh.
I say go finish the job. You want to have ** with him, so do it. You're both adults. It's important that you don't try to turn it into something it's not. Don't expect him to leave his wife and make it part of your job to keep it secret from her. But go for it.
They probably can't repeat it because the guy is (sorry to burst the bubble) a selfish predator who took advantage of his position of authority to get what he wanted. Now he knows she was probably willing to have ** if he'd have pushed it that far, there's no challenge in it any more so he's lost interest and started blowing her off with pathetic excuses.
To the confessor: don't waste your time - please. I'm guessing this guy is NEVER going to give you anything except on his terms. Is he the one saying you can't "repeat it"? Give a guy who might actually be serious about you a chance instead, and save yourself the energy and heartache ** after this self-serving manipulator. Not being horrible - just saying, a bit of tough love and all that ... it's up to you in the end :/
