Totaly nasty all of the sudden
My gf finally admited that she wasnt working at a convenince store for the last 2 mos but insted at a ** dancing place out of our town. its not one of those nice places like you see on tv and movies but one of those sketchy places where hookers and junkies work doing lapdances and god knows what in public. this is not the type personn she is and i dont know where this is coming from..all i know is i dont like it and i dont knowhat to do about it.
I'm afraid that what you're seeing is just the tip of a very dangerous and ugly iceberg. I know the type place she's working and what's she's exposing herself to in there is going to lead to more poor choices. Believe me: I was married to a girl just like her, and she slipped off the edge of the world courtesy of IV drug use and prostitution. Do what ever you can to get her out of the club and back to reality (a **, particularly a sleazy one, is as far from reality as a person can get). I wish the best for you.
Aye. Long conversation indeed. Good friend of mine went through something really similar. Girl was just really unhappy with her life and chose some destructive paths to go down to cope. Eventually she got on heroin and they got a divorce. (Years later, she's happily remarried, reasonably well-adjusted and has at least one kid so you never know...) Either way, she's likely dealing with some stuff and needs some help. She may or may not be ready to hear/acknowledge that.
