I really really want a baby
I'm 19, trying to support my fiance and I on a minimum wage job but I think about having a baby all the time. I hate taking my birth control pills, I really want to just go off it and let nature take it's course.
You're 19. And engaged. Do you really think a baby will add to things? You are way too young to realize the permanancy of a kid. At 19, this "engagement" won't last, as you'll grow apart. Then what? He leaves you knocked up and on welfare, thus, everyone else's problem? Stay on the pill.
I like your way of thinking about this. It sounds like you're doing what you want, and what's best for your relationship, and that's great.
Letting nature take it's course sounds really expensive, especially since you only have a minimum wage job. Babies are expensive, and the idea sounds more romantic then it is. Why don't you look into different birth control...IUD or something. Then plan your wedding, enjoy married life for awhile. You're quite young, live a little. Save some money and when the time is right PLAN for a baby.
This commenter is right. All the "teen mom" ** on tv is unbelievably bad and unreal and misleading. If the pill is too much trouble, get the implant, or use the Plan B program, or do something different. But don't ever have a baby just to shake things up or for any reason other than L-O-V-E.
