I've had feelings for the same guy for 8 years... I just saw him again for the first time in a year or so, and my heart stopped and everything seemed to slow down... Does this mean it's love?
He made it -very- clear years ago that he's not, and won't ever feel the same... But I still can't help but admire from afar. *sigh*

Get over him. Stop it. The more you allow yourself to fall in love the more pain you will feel when he doesn't return your feelings. It can only get worse. Just move on and find someone else.
