I hate my fiance's mother. I mean
I hate my fiance's mother. I mean, she's a great woman, but I can't stand her. She's manipulative, she smokes, she calls 10x a day, she whines, she ALWAYS wants to take us out to lunch and if we don't want to go she takes it as a personal slight. I'm starting to really hate being around her. I feel like a ** because my fiance (of course) loves his mom, but he can't stand how much she calls too. Occasionally he'll find his cajones and tell her to stop calling but then she'll freak out and say that she just MISSES him and why does he have to be so selfish. So then he calls her back 30 minutes later to reassure her that he loves her. It doesn't help that she's going through this huge problem that she totally blows up to get more attention from him. THE LADY IS CRAZY. She always wants to stop by the apartment. I can't stand her. I can't stand how she smokes.
I thought I had it bad because my mother is emotionally absent and doesn't like to hug. Even though my mother is a **, at least she's not constantly trying to be the third wheel. ** THAT WOMAN

LMAO at Everybody Loves Raymond!!!!!! Listen honey, you are not married yet, therefor you know hwat you will be getting yourself into when you do get married. Do not think things will get better. Three options: 1. Deal with it (how it is now, and will always be until she dies) 2. Give your fiance an ultamatum (probably won't work) or 3. LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, stop complaining, and do what you gotta do!

Seriously? I mean, she can't be all of that and 'a great woman'. Either she is or isn't. She sounds very controlling and your future husband sounds like he's still tied tightly to the apron strings. Set some boundaries with her and stick to them. If your fiance can't do that then you have a more serious problem on your hands.
