I KNOW for a fact that my boyfriend has cheated on me at least three times but i stay with him because he's brilliant to our daughter and i don't want her to hate me one day for walking out on her Dad.

Precisely so. Why worry that she'll hate you for walking out on him when she'll be able to hate you in her own adulthood for having taught her to stay with a man who respects his wife (and women in general) so little that he'll serially cheat on her without remorse or apology (or admission)? It's a difficult situation, bordering on impossible, but you have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
